Sojourn Care is looking for people in the East Valley to visit with lonely seniors that have few opportunities to socialize. The visits could be as simple as listening to a person reminisce about when they moved here from the midwest, or you could bring a guitar and play some old favorites.
The important thing to remember is that you will truly be helping a neighbor! Who would have thought that the greatest gift you could give would be a listening ear?
There is training involved to ensure that you feel comfortable in this experience. The good news is that we do not have to wait until a class is ready; we can get started right away! You even get to choose the location the training takes place!
