I inherited these from someone who, among other things, cut glass. I believe them to be related to that.

The black ones I believe to be called "glass running pliers". The only thing I can make out on them is "Japan". $10. Glass Running Pliers have curved jaws designed to give you a perfect run every time. Just place the alignment mark over the score line, adjust the screw and squeeze. Adjustment screw allows fine adjustment for various glass thicknesses, and helps to minimize glass breakage.

The one with yellow handles seems to have "Compton 3360" stamped on its side but I can't make it out for sure. $20.
