What good is viewing a DVD player or Satellite Dish receiver in another room if you can't replay a cool scene or change the channels? Many video distribution products contain an "IR Engine" that can enable you to remotely control any video device from another room.
Place this IR receiver on top of your TV set in a remote room to remotely control an AV device located in another part of your home. It "catches" the IR signals from your remote control and converts those signals into an electrical signal.

The IR Target features a "talk-back" LED that tests the system for proper operation and provides a visual confirmation that the signal from your remote was successfully received. Receives IR signals from up to 30 feet away and up to 45 degrees off to the left or right of the unit. Works with nearly all the IR remotes on the market (receives IR carrier frequencies between 30 to 100kHz.) It is line powered over the coax (12-volts DC) from the distribution center and requires no local power. Measures 3.3" wide by 2.0" deep and only 1" high.
