This poor, pathetic little 2yr old boy was pulled off the euthanasia list and in such bad shape, it took hours to get him to look like a regular dog again. His hair was matted, filthy, and the worst we have ever seen. Yet, as scared as he was, he sat still for all of the grooming and cutting and trimming that needed to be done. He shivered a bit, and clearly has not been in a good place, but what a little gentle soul he is. He needs lots of tender loving care, no small children who are too loud and active, and a forever home. He adjusts well to a new home, but doesn't seem to like visitors to a home so a home without a lot of new people coming and going would be best.....some training would benefit him as well....and if you have company, he is happiest put up so he isn't stressed. He would just like a quiet household...where he is spoiled and loved and doesn't have to share with others....he does well with other dogs his size though. Just not lots of new people. We would like to stress that. Once he is settled into a home, he is hostile to strangers and protective. He needs a family who is willing to deal with that...train him, put him up when company comes, but help him work through that. Darling boy though. Still, it's important you don't just fall in love with the face. You need to appreciate the issue you will be dealing with. He will NOT be suitable with strangers once he is settled into his home and it will take an experienced person to deal with this. For more information, contact daisy320@cox.net.
