Pit Bull Terrier - Large - Young - Male - Dog - Gavin

Gavin German Sheppard / Pit bull Mix 1 year old - Male Gavin will be one year old on November 29th. He was rescued as a tiny pup, with the rest of his siblings, from a horrible and filthy environment. He has been in a foster home with Benji's ever since. Gavin is a large pup, weighing about 65 pounds already. He is energetic and enjoys learning new tricks. He would benefit greatly from someone who wants to train him to learn new things. He already knows how to sit, lay down, shake, and leave it. He loves to go on walks or jogs and is eager to please his owner. Gavin has a high prey drive and loves to chase birds and rabbits in the yard, therefore he would not do well with small dogs or cats in the home. Gavin has a lot of good shephard qualties. He is protective of his family, but is truly loyal to the one person he bonds to first. He has been around kids and other dogs, but prefers adults and would do best as an only dog (or a very young puppy). He is housebroken and crate trained. He knows how to use a doggy door too. He still has some puppy qualities....he loves to chew on bones and toys. If he is provided with squeaky toys and chew bones he does very well (if not, he will "steal" stuff like paper or plastic toys and water bottles that are left out). Gavin is a really sweet and loveable guy. He has been looking for his forever home for a long time. If you want a good companion, call and ask to meet Gavin.
