AVAILABLE! LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER HOME! We believe there is a home for every dog we foster. Some just take a little longer to find. Most dogs spend at least a short time in foster care so we can evaluate their behaviors in a home setting. We can give potential adopters information on how the dog may interact with cats, children, men, women, other dogs, and so on. These are vital components to a good match. We also try to improve potty training skills if they are not already house trained. Our foster homes provide good nutrition and an understanding lap to prepare our dogs for life in a world where fear and starvation are non-existent. WHAT IS MY ADOPTION FEE? Our adoption fee for this dog is: $165.00 This fee helps to offset what we have spent on medical costs such as; any needed veterinary bills, rabies, DHPP & Bordatella vaccinations, spay or neuter & a microchip. ALL ABOUT ME!! Skippy runs around like a rabbit so should probably be named Bugs. He is very fast. Until he came into foster care he lived in a backyard with little human contact. He is coming along pretty good on potty training. Very smart boy. Skip loves to play and becomes protective of his humans. He is not ready to be around children so will need an adult only home. He wants affection but it seems like it is all new to him so he does get nervous. Skip likes to sit on his foster mom's lap and have his back scratched but if she goes to give him a big hug he stiffens up as if he fears something. Skip will need a patient owner while he works through trust issues. He thrives on limits so will need someone who can set and enforce limits.
