Drake came to Az Chihuahua Rescue as a stray from the humane society. Drake loves to be the center of all attention. He loves to cuddle and be around you. He is 4 years and and A fun guy. He does hold up his left back leg apparently he had a brake above the knee that is healed and he will sometimes favor it.He is not in any pain from it. But it does not stop him for he loves to play with toys.Drake loves to go for walks. But he was having trouble with coughing only to find out that he has valley fever, so he will be on meds for the next few months to see how that helps and if the meds work he will be back up for adoption. Do not let the valley fever chase you off his meds are inexpensive and he loves to take them if you put them in cream cheese.So can you find it in your heart to adopt Drake? Update From the Foster: Drake will probably be on valley fever meds for a lifetime, he is a very loving guy who deserves a great home. If you give him some toys he will be busy for hours. I will not allow him to be adopted to a family with young kids, Drake can get grouchy but we all do. So can someone find it in there heart to adopt this great guy. Update 8/7/09: Drake went back to the vets office, on 8/4/09. And the valley fever has gone to remission. So he no longer needs his meds. Though he will need to be watched as the valley fever may reoccur. Please email Jenn for information on how to adopt Drake.
