My name is Eddie Schenck I am a local sculptor who is offering a class in a variety of techniques including additive, subtractive, carving, found object, paper, urethane mold making and steel . My art can be seen at http://www.edsgreenart.com it features works from a wide spectrum in different styles and different medium. This will be an 8 week course for novice and begining sculptors no expierience needed. Each 2.5 hour class will meet once per week and cost $15/week.
Week 1 - Introduction to course, supplies, course outline, Objective and basic theory.
Week 2 - Paper Sculpting- assemblage,dutchman coat and paper/resin.
Week 3 - Additive - clay sculpting and armature construction techniques
Week 4 - Subtractive- Carving techniques including decortative chip carving.
Week 5 - Found Object- Theory of found object sculpting, various mediums utilized
Week 6 - Steel Sculpting- cutting welding hammering and construction theory
Week 7- Mold Making- Polyurethane moldmaking for replication.
Week 8 - Advanced sculpting mediums- high density urethane, stone sculpting

Tuesday Evening Class
Meets every Tuesday evening from 6:00- 9:30
Classes start 10/13 and run through 12/1
Most classes will be held at my studio in Mesa, Although we will be using other facilities throughout the course.
Each class costs $15,(course ends up costing $120)
Saturday Class
Meets every Saturday morning from 10:00- 12:30
Classes start 10/17 and run through 12/5
