ideal for that spot of tea when alone, or for serving that one special person a cup(s) of tea. Pot holds enough water for 2 cups of tea
 
Ceramic tea pots keep tea hot for longer periods of time than metal tea pots
 
purchased this item on an European trip back in the 70s, and recently just found stored away in a drawer. To my knowledge, I don't believe we ever used it, no tea stains, no chips or cracks, unit is dishwasher safe
