What Is The Art of Living Course?
The course is a self-development workshop based on a unique, powerful breathing process called Sudarshan Kriya. The Sudarshan Kriya deeply cleanses the system of stress while processes offered in the course help one gain insight into common habit patterns of the mind. This combination of self-knowledge and inner cleansing allows one to live more gracefully in a stressful worlk, while increasing the connectedness within oneself and with others.

What is Sudarshan Kriya?
Developed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sudarshan Kriya is taught exclusively on Art of Living courses. The practice uses the breath in unique rhythms, without effort or force. The technique triggers a natural healing/cleansing mechanism in the system while infusing the body with energy and bringing the mind to the present moment. Negative emotions are released with the breath. After the course one will be able to practice Sudarshan Kriya at home to nourish all levels of the body, mind, and spirit everyday. At home the practices take about 20 minutes. The benefits of Sudarshan Kriya are not seen from other types of breathing practices and go far beyond those of pranayama breathing taught in yoga classes.

People of all backgrounds have experienced dramatic results from the program including relief from depression and anxiety, normalization of sleep patterns, improved immune function, and an increase in focus and relaxation.
